I never have anything bad to say about this place. One of my favorite sushi restaurants in Kendall. This place offers a dining experience where you sit on the floor, Japanese style. They also have regular sitting and sitting at the sushi bar. They are super attentive and service is always friendly. I had a rainbow roll which was delicious. The fish tasted fresh. But my two favorite appetizers are the Tuna Yukke and the spicy salmon salad which they serve you in a kimchi sauce. Delicious! I highly recommend this place.

My go to sushi place! the food is always so good ! The sushi is fresh and delicious. They have a lot of rolls you can pick from. The main dishes as well are just as good. The seating on the floor is a cool touch. If you don't mind that I would suggest it. The service as well is always good and fast.
After moving to west kendall, my husband and I were looking for a date night spot and came across this gem. After 3 visits, this is now our go to for sushi, teriyaki, and katsu! This place offers a nice ambiance, the floor seating option is a bonus, and such a unique experience. Service has been on point everytime. They have a very vast menu and a nice wine list. Self parking is available and they have a good sized parking lot, we've always found a spot with ease.
I have struggled to find a good Japanese/sushi spot in the southwest Miami region for a while. If I find something that's good, it's like the quality only lasts so long. Shibui is where it's at! Their fish quality is exceptional. Their service is great - kind, attentive and fast. The ambiance feels awesome. It's nicely decorated and for those who want that traditional Japanese dining feel, floor seating is fun. I had the salmon cucumber roll (rice-less and wrapped in seaweed and cucumber), jalapeño yellowtail with ponzu sauce and vegetable tempura. All fab! This will be my go to spot!
